Best credit reporting company

Hi, Im after the most detailed and up to date credit report I can get due to getting a letter from a pay day loan company I used 10 years ago saying I owe them money. But this agreement doesn't show up on my Noddle credit report and when I ask them to prove it they cut me off and ignore my letters.

There is no one best credit reference agency.

Each lender and potential lender will report or search either 1, 2, or all 3 of the agencies.
Experian (aka credit expert)
Equifax
Callcred (aka Noddle)

To get a full picture you need to look at all 3.

However if you defaulted on the debt more than 6years ago then it is unlikely to show on your credit reports - entries drop off 6years after the default date filed with the credit reference agencies.

Have they written to you or just called you?
Don't talk to them any further on the phone.

Either send the prove it letter, or if you think it may be statute barred send the SB letter. Or the hybrid of both. Links Letter when you know nothing about about the debt - AKA "Prove it" letter and Statute barred debts and the Limitation Acts (post 2 or 3 or maybe 5)
