Over limit on Barclaycard

Hi guys,

basically I was near my limit on my credit card and over Christmas set it up to pay the minimum payment due to well, er, shopping.

Normally I pay in full but it was a tight month. Anyhow , not knowing how it works I assumed the min payment included interest etc.

What happened is the min payment came out but the interest pushed me over the limit as the statement was cut. i didn't notice for a few days at which point I paid it to bring it down below limit. Card is now fully paid off.

How badly will this effect my credit rating? Will it show as a payment problem?

Many thanks
