Mortgage valuation report-advice needed please

I am purchasing a property that was only built a few years ago so I went with the valuation for mortgage purposes.
The valuation has come in at the price I am paying for the property. In the general comments box, it does say that the condition is consistent with the age but that some repair and maintenance are required.
Should I be concerned about this and arrange a further survey? Or is this generally something they will write? I have viewed the property twice and didn't notice any repair needs other than paintwork.
Hope someone can advise? Thanks

Could mean they spotted a single missing tile on the roof. Or the paintwork on the window sills needs re-doing. Or the internal decor is faded/old.
Or there's a bloody great crack down one wall......
Ring the surveyor and see if he'll chat. Of course, he may not as you are not his client - the mortgage lender is - but some surveyors will be informally helpful0 -
Thanks, I will see if I have any joy down that route.
In my current property, also only a few years old the valuation simply said that the property was well presented throughout. So obviously it is a concern to see this on the report.
It has really just cast doubt in my mind especially with it being built in the last few years. I am hoping it is just minor things such as paintwork etc0
