Hi all,

I have a PS3 and have just acquired an Iiyama Pro Lite E1908WSV 19 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor. I obviously already own the HDMI and VGA cables respectively.

I have done some research already about the best way to use my monitor as a display for my PS3 and there seems to be numerous possible ways to go about it, but I would be grateful for opinions or advice based on experiences.

I understand that it won't be possible to play sound via this method, however I may be wrong.

Also, my monitor can support a resolution up to 1680 x 1050 if this will make any difference but only has the VGA input option and a round audio in socket.

Thanks.
Gareth.
