parking ticket from g24

hi there Hope you can help please I recently got a ticket from g24. As I had parked for 298 mins instead of 180 free parking. The picture shows no driver due to misted windows. The registered driver was at work at the time. It was outside the gym at off peak time so there were empty spaces for the duration there. The cheeky gets want me to pay £100 fine reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. After searching g24 the 1st page I found on MSM said just ignore but after reading further into the info looks like I should appeal so can someone please help with what to do next as I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the info Thanks Sid

All the info you require is in the NEWBIES thread

Ignore is not the advice, if in England or Wales.

    There is no "fine" involved

Same advice as here in a similar case but with Excel Parking; 'your' firm G24 also being in the IPC:

That's about it really, read that and the Newbies thread post #1 and #3. Appeal as keeper, lose/lose then complain to the DVLA massively.

PAYING IS NOT AN OPTION. You should also complain to the retailer/Store Manager/CEO of course, or the retail park management (Google the place).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • thanks again for the prebious help I sent them a letter as yo avised they have now sent a final notice as if they haven't received my appeal. Their website won't let me appeal with them anymore and I can complain to IAS. What should I do?

do as coupon-mad said and complain to the retailer and demand a cancellation

as for G24 or any debt collector letters , IGNORE

IGNORE (for 6 years) - unless you actually receive a genuine LBC or a genuine MCOL

but the landowner complaint is paramount now
