Good reviews (that are there). People complaining about no lids coming on them, but doesn't state anywhere that there are meant to be lids on them!
Bought a few to keep for teacher pressies for this year.

Tnx Just ordered 4 - can't not at these prices, after all if you are just using them for yourself, then no lid is not important.
So easy, just collect at the Tesco Express at the top of my road on Saturday.

I don't quite get why the people were complaining about no lids- other wax lyrical candles do not have lids unless shown in the photos and the photos here didn't show any lids. Very odd IMO.

I've ordered some for myself (thanks OP) , but was thinking you could do the tops like jam jars... A nice circle of fabric with a festive ribbon. Wouldn't cost much extra just to make them more finished.

Trouble is that they will be no good for this Christmas with not being sealed with a lid as the fragrance will just disappear in a few months, I would imagine?

Clingfilm would probably do if being stored.

I got some of the figgy pudding ones last year and they were open tumbler types and came in a box- they were fine and I stored them for nearly a year.

Don't use cling film or plastic to store candles as it leaches the colour and scent from the candle and makes the wax sweat. Wrap them in a couple of layers of greaseproof paper instead.
