Missed payments on a CC acccount > 6 Years

Hi All,


I have a CC that I have been using for 10 years.


I also have some missed payments for the CC that are currently 5 years old. I have made all payments since then.


I have read that CRA's only keep information for 6 years, is this the case for open accounts? Will these missed payments disappear from my credit files after the 6 year mark has passed or do lenders see the whole payment history for the whole term of the CC (10 years in this case).


When checking my credit files online/statutory reports they only show the last 5/6 years for my accounts, Is this all the lenders see?

Late payment markers only last for 6 years.

Most lenders would disregard them if they're 5 years old.
