Barclays Current Account Problem.

Any one experience this? Opened one Barclays Current account last Friday and today received 2 debits cards. Both with same account number/sort code and different card numbers. One contactless one isn't contactless.. Anything to worry about or what?

Thanks I am going into branch on my lunch break to sort it out give them my signature card and transfer old bank account over. Don't really wanna ring them up. Probably sent 2 debit cards by accident etc..0

id say quite simple, they have either:
sent you a contactless card and then invoked it and sent you a none contactless, or sent you a none contactless and upgraded you to a contactless. (yes even in such a short period of time)
what is the date on the letters that contained the card? if one is dated later then the other, that is the card id say youd have to use.0 -
Nothing on the letters but both cards have same expiry date/start date.
I think they sent me non contactless card then upgraded me to contacts card etc... Will sort tomorrow in Branch...0 -

My welcome letter is dated 12th January and gave me account/sort code number.. No number on letter with debit card. can they find out which card is active in branch?0

yes you can, as they will simply log in to your account and tell you, its a shame you didn't have the pins, and im suspecting 2 pins may arrive which may add to the confusion as you wont know which pin is for which card (possibly)0

Thanks will sort in branch and if I get 2 pins will try one and then the other pin... and change pin to one I remember. pin number always come day later..0

Tried adding both cards on Paypal the contactless card worked and was added successfully... The non contactless card didn't and said (Sorry, we can't add this card. Please try adding a different card to your account.) looks like the contactless card is the one working but will double check with the bank tomorrow0
