The easiest way to tell if you need more ram, is to monitor how much ram is being used when running your applications.
If they dont use the ram thats already there, then adding more will make no difference0 -
Scanned down through this - you're hungry for RAM and hard drives! 350W is not good enough IMO and this is the first thing you need to upgrade, if you're going to have more than just a DVD and one hard drive. Seriously. It's not sexy, it doesn't make your computer any faster, but you don't want it to fail and take out some or all of those components!0

Not unless they are running a power hungry graphics card, RAM and another hard drive won't hog too much power.

I remember that website Big Graeme - great resource. Yes, I'll take a good 350W PSU over a cheapo '1000W' one any day. Stable and reliable is what you want!0
