Civil Enforcement ltd court claim outcome.....

So Just wanted to update you all with the outcome of my mums court case with CEL, it started back in June 2012 for over staying in a free co op car park by twenty minutes.
Anyway by taking the advise of people on her and reading the newbies threads and filing defence etc we were due to go to court with CEL today and they have backed out.
Mum got a phone call on Monday to say its been cancelled but i rang the court this morning just in case and its 100% not going ahead and we are so relieved.

I just want to thank everyone who has helped me especially jojo01,
I think its amazing that you help people in your own time so again thank you.

And to anyone thinking of paying CEL please don't give these crooks any of your money.

I would imagine it was your previous thread(s) which you really should have added this to rather than creating a new one though.

Not surprising with CEL, this is entirely their MO (unless you're a Co-Op employee after CEL were sacked).

Exactly that - although there were 3 or 4 previous threads about this I think. (I didn't know if such a link would work for everyone, or just the person who created it).

Time to start counter claiming for lost earnings and preparation of case materials to prevent them backing out of cases ?
