Bannatynes parking

Bannatynes gym in Norwich now has camera controlled parking (and is taking down tennis courts to provide more parking spaces to nearby companies, sod the 'health club'). Members of the club will be fined if they forget to put in registration numbers of their car. But it's a members car park! Bannatyne, in his rush to make money, has passed the running of his parking, to a contractor. If a ticket is issued, £100, can it be ignored? Bannatyne says 'nothing to do with him'.

Maybe he'd better look up what "contractor" means. It has everything to do with Bannatyne, and you need to put them on notice that THEY are responsible for the actions of their contractors, including being on the end of any lawsuits or claims that come from the actions of those contractors.davidbrian55 wrote: »Bannatyne, in his rush to make money, has passed the running of his parking, to a contractor. Having semi-shamed Duncan would you care to let us know who the "contractor" is?My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

In fact, write to them now telling them that the contract is not to be renewed upon expiry (or giving them the necessary notice of cancellation, whatever is required under the contract), and tell them why.
Diarise the due date of your last payment under the existing contract, so you don't forget to cancel the direct debit mandate afterwards.

No!
Now read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES to find out why, and how to beat any scam ticket whilst you inform the Gym why you will be leaving to find one that actually cares about their members.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I wonder how many members will be leaving. Does Duncan really need the money that badly?

He seems a sensible enough chap, why not write to him in measured tones pointing out the downside, (to him), of inviting a PPC to harass his customers. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Pretend you have an idea for Dragons Den and when you get there hit him with this.0
