I just wanted to share a good experience:
Today I had to park in London's Congestion zone (for a hospital trip, not really convenient for us to park&ride), and my wife found this visitorparking.co.uk website.

After being really worried that it would be a scam, I booked the closest car park (yesterday) and drove there today.
On arrival, the car park attendant made a gesture indicating that the car park was full, but when told that I reserved online, he indeed had kept one space for my car.

I couldn't find any review on the internet, or any post on MSE about this website, so here is one, witnessing that it at least worked for one person
