keep getting wasps in my lounge in Jan, have I got a nest under the house?

I'm sure it'll come as a great comfort to the wasps to know that you're poisoning them organically...

If you mean Colchium autumnale (Autumn Crocus or "Naked Ladies"), they're potentially fatally toxic.

More likely than not you'll have them in your chimney.

I have found wasps in chimneys and flues on quite a few occasions when sweeping chimneys etc.
