You would have a better argument for using sale of goods .....

    How?

Since the OP isn't in the UK ;)

But may have purchased in the UK.

    Still not clear on locations
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
  • From what we have learned through the repair process is that it is a fault in one of the doors, the car does not think it is locked and keeps trying to lock effectively draining the battery, they have tried to replace numerous parts which have not worked, once we get the car on the road again the child lock malfunctions.

Disabling the battery is how we have made it this far however this is part of what is frustrating me as it should not be necessary and i don't want to have to continue doing this.

Yes we are rejecting through a UK dealer, we and the car are currently overseas but it was bought from the UK and we are entitled to the same procedures as we would be if we were currently in England, the dealer knew where the car was going at the time of purchase (not that that should matter) it's just going to cost us more to take it back to the dealer, if they were to inspect it and try to rectify it, it will take days to test that it has actually rectified meaning hotel bills, days off work/school etc etc, which is why i'm wondering if we can legally say no to them trying to rectify it again after so many attempts have been made.
