Thank you to everyone for the help, some more than others.
However, Bengal-Stripe was the best. Waiting.
I had a call from the Exec Office of Santander, they investigated the complaint;
they concluded that the two staff involved were in the wrong, there communication, service and manners were far below the standard expected and procedures will be taken. They will be sending a letter explaining what they had done, also to fully appolagise , which is what I wanted in the first place. I am glad I actually had a witness to the whole outcome.
