Try Ebay. I dont know how to post links but I got one off a seller with a shop called Kanelpuk
They sell all different ones in different sizes. The larger ones hold £500 in £1 coins.
Kanelpuk's shop is here. I'm definitely going to get some of these tins (whether I get them from Poundland or off the internet) - they're a great idea, & I need more than willpower to stop me dipping into them. :)

I got two from Ebay. Apparently they hold £500 in £1 coins but I'm popping small change in.

  • Ring pull cans make a good unopenable money box. If you force a 50p into the aluminium ones it makes a hole big enough for all the other coins. Plus, they're free! So you can have one for each budget item if you want.

What you could do is get one of those sealed tins as PAP has and then make your own tick off label with normal white labels that you can get in newsagents or stationery shops.

    Just a thought!

I bought the cheapest one I could get from ebay (no pound shop near me) unfortunately it had high school musical on it

Some double-sided sticky tape and nice paper soon got rid of that and I've got a lovely tin for saving up all my £2 coins and small change :)

  • I had been looking for one to put my £2 coins in, found one last week in Crawley in a shop called Lifestyle. Now happily putting money in there.

However, I have a large whiskey bottle full of small coins (20 & 50p saved elsewhere). How do I go about getting the money in the bank, last time I tried, they would only accept £5 in shrapnel?:(
