I Need A Special Kind of Curtain Rail

I've just moved into a house and the garage has been converted to a bedroom. I'm going to have someone staying and need to get a curtain rail up. Only problem is the window runs the whole length of the end of the room and is all pvc to the ceiling (So no brick work above it to screw and attach a curtain rail). Obviously the ceiling can't hold a curtain rail and curtains.
Can you get curtain rails that attach to the two side walls next to the end wall with the window in it?
Any ideas of any cheap places that do them?
Cheers.

How about using a general purpose rail - the type you can buy for built-in/walk-in wardrobes. They sell them in DIY shops and you cut the to the required length - not sure if you would get one long enough for this window though. They are fixed in such way that it would be suitable for the situation you are describing.0

Thanks. But the size of the window and the length and weight of the curtians I don't think it would hold.
There must be a rail that screw to the wall at the ends like a blind0 -
Could you maybe attach a light window blind....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Why aren't you just fitting it into the uPVC window? There's no reason it wouldn't hold if you use the right screws.
Unless it's cos you just want it to be temporary?0 -

Hi,
I think I know what you are thinking about, something like this,
If you could get the fittings somewhere and then get a curtain pole and modify the ends, though I would think you would still need a support in the middle.
Your ceiling must have joists, so why not get a curtain pole and fix to ceiling.0
