Hi guys. Just a simple question really.
I'm selling my house and s*ds law the left hand grill element of the indesit has gone. It's a below surface and the books say: FID20,-FID10-FIMD23-FIMD13 for the grill bit.
Is changing the element a job for a not too experienced
DIYer like me or best to call a professional? I see they are easily acquired (the element, not the professional
) providing I carefully ensure I buy the right one.
Any thoughts before I leave this mortal coil with a blue flash and a hazy smoke cloud very much appreciated.

I believe past performance is a good guide to future performance

Its probably this one, however need to look at the model number and confirm its the type.
In short...
1) Remove Power
2) Remove Back Cover
3) Identify Element
4) Remove Connectors
5) Unscrew Element
6) Remove Element
7) Compare Element
8) Fit Element
9) Fit Connetors
10) Fit Rear Panel
11) Test..

Many thanks for that steppevos. I can see it is straightforward but removing the unit and replacing it on my own could be tricky. I think I might call a man who can.
And tx Alias-Omega also. That looks the part but with two left hands maybe best .............. :beer:I believe past performance is a good guide to future performance :beer:0
