PCN from Excel Parking - To pay, or not to pay?

I recieved a parking charge notice from Excel Parking in December 2014 in Swansea, I've recieved nothing other than the ticket which was issued. The reason I had no ticket displayed was because the carpack was next to the hotel i was staying in & i believed it was the hotel parking & as a paying customer of the hotel i didn't think there would be an additional charge.
As of yet i have taken no action other than not paying, i'm in desperate need of solid advice as I'm not financially prepared to be hit with even more costs.
Thanks in advance! 😁

All is explained in the NEWBIES thread. The "what happened and why" doesn't really matter.0

Trouble is Excel are now with the IPC so the IAS 'appeal' (ALLEGED KANGAROO COURT) will likely not be winnable.
DO NOT PAY THOUGH - NOT AN OPTION ON THIS FORUM!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No you don't - you have a speculative invoice. No you should not pay.
What you SHOULD do is go read the NEWBIES sticky thread, and then if you still need help start your own thread. (This forum is too busy to let people hijack other threads - if you don't start your own thread you won't get help. Sorry if this is blunt, but it's true).0 -
Two people here actually asking if they should PAY a fake private parking ticket?!
NO!!!!!!!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
