When I start to fill in for a second application , it lets me fill my name & details in , click continue ! & it then says ring this 0845 no as we have some details of you , is this the way to proceed ?, I don't like ringing 0845 nos if I can help it, life seems so complicated for me , I think iam going to end it , I need to talk to colsten , I wonder if he will come out of retirement &answer what seems basic questions to a normal person:rotfl:
Then find a non-0845 number and call that. The website gives 0345 835 3353.0 -
OP...see the T&Cs, page 6
robotrobo...see the rates and charges leaflet, page 3
All documents referred above are available on their website to view/download. And if you're an existing customer you'll also have the paper copies which they sent.
But who reads them eh!?0 -

give us a break yorky! , have you read my post no7 above?
i have read the t&c but i still do not fully understand if i only need 2x£750 to fund the post or not , now you have given me a no to ring i will ring them direct , thankyou.0 -
There are 3 ways to avoid the £5 monthly fee on this account:i have read the t&c but i still do not fully understand if i only need 2x£750 to fund the post or not
1. Pay in at least £750 each month
2. Still be in the first 2 months from account opening
3. Be in the process of switching another account to your Tesco account.
(And that's the bit from page 3 of the rates and charges leaflet)
So, the very short answer to your question - to be absolutely certain of avoiding the fee - is to credit the account each and every month with at least £750.
If you have 2 accounts, and with the T&Cs as they are today, then you can fund 1 from 2 and vice versa. (and that's the bit from page 6 of the account T&Cs answering the OP's query).0 -
