DRO Lenders Still Showing as Default
Hi All,
I took out a DRO in Oct. 2011 and was discharged in Oct. 2012.
The lenders that I listed in my DRO are still showing as Default on my credit report as of Oct./Nov. last year, is that correct or can I write to these lenders and have the status changed?
Many thanks

Yes you can write to them asking them to change it to partly satisfied or something similar.
Have a look at this discussion where there is a template of what you can send to them I have just used the very same template and already had some of them change it within a week.

The defaults should be listed as Oct 2011 or earlier.
So that everything drops off (including the DRO entry itself) in Oct 20170 -
Hi Bell
