Odd esa payment today :(

Hi,could anyone help please as I'm worried. I looked at my online banking this morn and I have a payment of £63 gone in. Looking at the statement it has my national ins no the dwpeesa and the amount.
I usually get income related esa and my next payment would be 21st jan. I had an assessment at. Home just before Xmas and haven't heard anything since. I get my payment on a Wednesday usually.
Can't work out what this payment is and really worried something's changed and I've not been informed :( can anyone help please? Thankyou

Call DWP when they open and ask lol. Doubt anyone here can answer your question.

If you have just had an assessment it may be that they have decided you are fit for work and have stopped ESA. You will need to claim JSA now if this is the case - call them at 09:00 and ask them what's going on, they do make mistakes, so if one has been made this will highlight it immediately.
  • as others have said your best bet is to call the DWP and see what going on it would be impossible for us to give you the correct answer we would only be guessing

if you have had an assessment it might be due to that but phone them and let us know so we can offer you more advice if needed
