getting money on to credit card??

My car insurance (£750) was due at the weekend, so at the start of the month I applied for a 12 month 0% purchases card from halifax - to pay the £750 off interest free over the year (instead of 35.9% to the insurer!!) - but although I've been approved - the card hadn't arrived by the weekend - so I paid it out of my current account - Is there any way of transferring the money I paid onto a credit card to pay over the year now?? I thougth about egg money and transferring the 750 into my current account - but I was turned down (can't think why - my credit rating seems to be ok on garlik.com!)

So does anyone know how can i transfer £750 off a credit card on to my current account chaeply, or ideally, 0% ??

I've done this a couple of times to 0% on my virgin CC, no problem.

(the more obvious way is to spend £750 you'd normally spend anyway on a CC then transfer this £750 to the 0% deal, having saved £750 you'd have spent from the current account...)

Anyone know if I can get the money off the credit card now at 0% into my current account.

It's a Halifax One internet special card if that helps - I think I've had too many applications recently to get another Cred. Card at the moment!!
