Wrong Item in The Box from Currys!

Xbox also have a factory seal on them not just the shops own tag. Given the fact that so many people complain that currys don't allow returns on opened item I highly doubt the 360 was in the box. Whoever won it is pulling a fast one.0

I think the winner had old Xbox 360 and wanted new Xbox 1, so won yours and thought place the xBox 360 in box and say thats what they got, then hoping they would get it refunded or even another xBox1 for their m8s0

I have been involved and even set up raffles and anything electronic is checked ( boxes opened, goods checked and serial numbers taken down) by at least 2 people and then locked in a secure cabinet until draw day and then on the day of the draw the checks are repeated to make sure its the same one that was placed in the cabinet.
By taking down the serial numbers, if the winners come back and say its not working you can then check to make sure it is the one they won and not an old one they are trying to claim on.0 -
No the winner is t chancing his arm as I said, once he was told by Currys that he couldn't exchange it he bought a new one for his child. He is bringing in the Xbox 360 and from what I have been told it has a hard drive and if it has been connected to Xbox live then there may be a way of finding out where it's come from. If I get no joy from Currys then I will be informing the police as something illegal has taken place. The winner is quite happy for this to happen as he is the innocent party here.0

If not the winner then someone who had access while it was under 'lock and key'...someone may have even stolen your key and replaced it when the deed was doneWe’ve had to remove your signature. It's sounding like a plot from Miss Marple! So we've discounted the winner and the locked secure room. That leaves the chance that maybe somebody in Currys had tampered with the box! Thoughts?0

No one has access to your keys then?

Why have you discounted the store room? How many people could have potentially had access to it?0
