I curently have broadband speed of around 11Mb and I'm thinking of going for an unlimited download package, so that I can make better use of my smart tv.
Fibre is faster but much more expensive than non fibre. So the question is, will download speed of 11Mb be ok for viewing broadband transmitted programs?
I don't really need faster for any other reasons.

I get 3-4 mb and that's fine for iPlayer via my Xbox one, 11mb should be fine.0

Ofcom's infratructure report (see page 49 really 53) 6Mbps

11mb should be fine even for an HD stream as long as you're not loading the connection with other traffic at the same time.0

If it doesn't work, ISP may be throttling your connection to a competitors TV service.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
