Does deposit mean the same as paying in?

Quick question. I have bagged 2 Tesco current accounts plus 3 BOS Vantages, ready to fill when I retire in August and get a lump sum. I read in the Tesco T's and C's that you pay £5 per month unless you deposit £750. Does this suggest it needs to be left in the account, or can the same in and out strategy used by so many of us, be applied to fulfil the condition. Just worried that it doesn't say 'paid in' but specifies 'Deposited' ? Anyone offer me their wisdom?

In and straight out again is perfectly fine (for current accounts).0
