sickholiday.com

Just randomly stumbled across this website on Facebook, what the site says:

With over 10 years experience, Sickholiday.com specialises in recovering the cost of your holiday, plus compensation for your discomfort and any extra cost you may have incurred (eg. Medical Fees)

If you have fallen ill or sustained an injury whilst on an All-Inclusive* package* holiday.

How it Works?

If you have booked an All Inclusive, package holiday you are covered under the Travel Package Regulations 1992. This means that the tour operator and hotel have a duty of care for you whilst you & your family are on holiday.

This allows you to make a claim against the tour operator in the event that the holiday was not fit for purpose.

Managed to do a bit of digging and found some info on what you need to do.

There are some basic steps you will need to follow:

Evidence -Take photos of the conditions you feel made you ill.
Witnesses - Ask and take the details of other people who are ill at the hotel.
Treatment - See the doctor when you’re abroad and again when you come home.
Call one of our Advisors now on 01625 253 020.
If you did not manage to do any of the above, do not worry. We could still help you, provided you fell ill in the past three years and reported or recorded the incident.

Wondered if anyone has used it and had any success? Would have came in handy if i'd known about it as both me and my girlfriend at the time got ill while in Egypt on the 2nd day a few years ago.
