Shenstone properties ground rent

Hi,
Ground rent for my flat that I have been in for 1 year 6months has been addressed to the previous owner so I haven't been aware of any payment due.
Having looked up this company and seen how unprofessional they are, I am going to call them in the morning. Please can you advise me the best way of handling this? I've seen all sorts of bad stuff about this company so really don't want to get into an argument with them, although I suspect they will attempt to and will possibly want to charge me a hefty admin fee for late payment (even thought the invoices have all been addressed to previous owner).
The invoice addressed to previous owner consists of chief rent and small amount of arrears (all totalling £7) which was due on 25.12.14. Thanks

It says their auditors have some doubts as to whether the company is a going concern - someone should send them a winding up petition and/or sue them for harassment?!
There must be enough people involved to join together and put a stop to this nonsense.
Are there any solicitors out there willing to look at setting up a class action?
In our case Shenstone say we were sent a recent demand dated 5th Dec which never arrived here - asking for payment by 25th Jan - they have sent photocopy with their letter explaining their rights to levy further charges. Saying we now owe £82 for administration and recovery costs due to late payment and will attract a further amount in excess of £250 for breach of the lease covenant if they need to send a County Court Summons. This company seem to do everything possible to make it as difficult as possible to pay on time including not accepting post and not cashing cheques... thereby invoking section 158 of the commonhold and leasehold reform Act 2002.
If we/anyone didn't receive the initial invoice or final demand how can this be the case? Would their case hold up in the county court? Also, if we paid their fees could we then take them to court and make a claim against them? Again we need a friendly solicitor to advise - anyone?
