Have you thought about getting a personal trainer?Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Half a stone is not too fast really. 1-2lbs a week is healthy and its been just over 3 weeks so thats good!
When weather permits force yourself to go for a walk, 20 mins, half hour what ever you fancy, during lunch breaks.
Your diet sounds fairly decent. Chicken and veg is always healthy. Try smaller plates at meal times. Make you think your eating lots as your plate is full lol.
Just watch out for sugar. Thats the killer in peoples diets. Try to eat only 2 fruits a day and make up the rest of your 5 a day in veg.
Look out for anything that says 0% fat and look at the sugar content. Its often stupidly high and worse for you.
As suggested sit ups, planks, weights etc all good for you. Try to eat a good protein snack after exercise to help "tone". Have a google for ideas.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

This I did not know!
Tanks for all the advice, unfortuantely I cannot afford a PT. Wedding finances dictate what I can and can't do.
I am going to concentrate on the weights and putting on weight via muscle building etc.
I just need to eat more than I am!0 -
Bumping this up a bit!
I have added a little weight but in a good way.
My stomach is trimmer and my arms are bigger - things are looking good.0 -
Hey
Personally, seems like you're on the right track
I when trying to get leaner, alongside weightlifting/cardio I tend to eat higher protein foods, whey protein, chicken, fish, lean meats, eggs etc, plain/greek yoghurt.
Carbs - wholemeal pasta/bread, oats, oatcakes, basmati/wholemeal rice, cous cous, quinoa
Veg, dark leafy green veg is high in fibre and obviously low in calories, but cant beat a nice salad with meat on it either
For good fats, whch help burn fat too, salmon, avacados, plain nuts.
Its just a case of getting the balance right, if you're losing weight at a steady rate, then all good, if not perhaps move things around a little
good luck0 -

I am eating alot of Tuna and fresh chicken. Taking creatine and whey.
