Universal Credit Website Down

The website has been mostly down/faulty for over 2 days now which means new claimants won't be able to start a new claim.
If anyone else is experiencing same problems let me know. I find this shocking.

What problem are you having? It appears to be working at present. You can also make a claim over the phone.0

I'm half way through submitting a claim and it crashes and says 'temporarily unavailable'. I phoned them and said it would take 40 min to do it over the phone. Only having a mobile that would cost me a lot of money.... Pitfalls of living in an area with UC....0

Can you ask them for a call back or go into a local JC+ and use their phones?
It has been on and off today it seems.

Call them on the 0345 number if you are on a contract (not sure if they are included on PAYG). Alternatively ask them to call you back.0

They said they would not call me back... Unbelievable. No one I know has a landline/telephone.0

There are phones at the Jobcentre you can use. Have you checked the cost of 0345 calls from your phone, are they included in your tariff? If still on EE they are.
What happened to your application in November?0 -

That's great news, hopefully that will lead to something more permanent. If you're not able to ring then go to your local office first thing tomorrow. In the meantime take a screen print of the error page you are seeing so you can apply for backdating.0
