Is the £1.20 each?
If so you should be able to reduce it a faitr bit. Maisie gets kibble with wet )rotation of those mentioned above & nature's menu), and including treats she.costs.under.£1/day to feed
If £1.20 is for both that's actually not bad )depending on dog size)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250

My dog goes through phases of refusing dry food. I mix up a beef stock cube and pour some of it onto the food and let it soak in. He loves it. A stock cube costs me about 25p (I use the knorr stock pots) and a pint will last me about 4 meals.
As a healthier option, you could make your own stock by simmering a bone (dog-safe vegetables optional) in a pan. I make a batch with a cooked chicken carcass after a roast (bin the cooked bones, not safe for the dog) and freeze in takeaway tubs to use for homemade dog treats.0 -

Yeah it's around £1.20 for both dogs. I don't begrudge paying for them, they're part of the family, I just mind paying out more than I need to if it's only when one is so fussyshould warn them that money can pay out for new Kongs and chews otherwise!

OP - In my experience Zooplus is the cheapest or if you buy in bulk on Amazon you can get 15% off, but that's only available for certain products and I don't know if it would cover what you want. Pets at Home also do online discounts too on certain of their Wainwrights trays, although not all of them for some reason.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »I used to feed Wainwrights but imho it's started to price itself out the market as there are loads of same / better quality wet foods around now.
The supermarkets all stock a decent wet - Tesco do Naturo, Asda Weebox trays, Sainsbury's own Delicious Collection which aren't any more expensive than the WW
I'd never heard of Naturo before, it sounds OK. From personal experience & research Wainwright's is probably the best quality wet food per £ but (£1 per 395g tray) but I'm not keen on it being tied to P@H (for some reason they rarely deliver and last time I collected in-store they faffed around for 20 minutes before I managed to get out of there).
My boy's a small Staffie but he needs 900g a day to maintain his weight, which translates to almost £6 on Lily's Kitchen, which he was on until recently. He's on Wainwright's and Nature's Menu now, with a view to go fully Wainwright's in the future, and it seems to suit him but I might try Naturo for some variety.0 -

At one time I'd have agreed with you but now the price has shot up so much (you used to get 12 packs for just over £7) it's nowhere near as good value
Naturo, Sainsbury's DC, Weebox trays are imho all better quality and around the same price (and often less when on offer)
If you then start looking at what else is now easily accessible then the likes of Lukullus / Rocco and many others make it pale into insignificance!
The Lukullus for example works out at less than 70p for the same amount which if you need to feed 900g / day is over 60p / day saving!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
