Sounds like you're in luck then. Move when the contract is up, live and learn.0 -

It wouldn't make any difference as you only disclose that you park on the road, you don't specify a certain road.0 -

I insure with Tesco, the first line when you apply for a quoteCan you answer 'yes' to ALL these statements about you and your car?I keep my car at my home address overnight
Same pageDo any of the reasons below prevent you from saying 'yes'?- You keep your car somewhere else, but not at your home address
- Your car has been modified other than for disabled access
- Your car has been imported from Europe

Anyone parking on the street (unless using numbered bays) will not be parking at their hone postcode, it isn't at all an unusual situation.0 -

Exactly, near your home is a different postcode, that is why on street parking is often a little dearer as the car may be parked in riskier areas compared to the actual street the owner lives on alongside the increased risk of damage.0 -
On street is actually cheaper in a lot of cases, try ringing your insurance up and telling them you park two street away because you can't get outside your house and see where that gets you.0

I did for years, well two streets would have been fantastic, it was never an unsual issue. It was in a very rough area as well.0 -
