Licence category shows B

Hi I passed my test last year. It shows category B but not B1. I think I've read they've stopped doing B1 or if I have B it covers B1 as well? Anyone know? (DVLA phone line has been blocked for over an hour!)

I don't see any mention of B1 on the website. Google shows that it appears to be a subset of B (3/4 wheels under 550kg) and should be covered by B anyway.
What are you wanting to drive?0 -
As of January 2013 it's no longer a sub category of B, so if you want to ride a quad or trike it's another test.0

Input your full details on here to see if your driving licence includes B1 or not.

Are you sure?
The way I read the DVLA website, Category B covers quads and tricycles.0 -

Having looked again I'm not sure.
There's an age restriction of 21 for higher powered trikes and some of the provisional entitlements changed.
However it appears a mute point as the op wants to drive a van not a quad.0 -
