Trying to claim PPI from Santander

Hi
Ive been trying to claim PPI from Santander. My original loan was with Alliance and Leicester who are now owned by Santander. I have original account code and proof that money was paid from bank account but Santander are saying they have no record of loan as it was over 6 years ago. Any advice please.

Do you not have any details of the loan in your own records? If not, all you can do is risk a £10 SAR to the bank to see if their archives have anything left - if you don't have any proof nor do they, unfortunately your complaint would be at an endSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

An account number and proof of loan payments isnt proof you had PPI. Even having the credit agreement doesn't prove you had it as it may have been cancelled.
If they have no records and you have no records then its game over.0 -
