how to follow a forum thread

hi
not sure if this is the right place to ask but searched on the faq's and coudn't find an answer.
is it possible to receive new posting notifications for a thread i wish to follow without making a post within that thread myself?
i know i can do it if i start or contribute to an existing thread but not sure if it's possible without.
many thanks.

Look above your post ... Thread Tools ... Subscribe To This Thread. I think that does it but not sure.

Oblivion is right but just make sure you do this as well.

When you click on 'Subscribe to this thread', click on 'add subscription' and your there.

It will appear in your subscribed threads when click on 'User CP' at the top of the page.
