Can any kitchen fitters let me know if this price is fair.
I'll be ripping out the old units myself.
Fitting 16 units, including wall units and a double oven housing.
3x3m laminate work tops fitted
Install gas hob
Connect electric oven
Plumbing of sink, dishwasher and washing machine
Quoted £1500 inc vat
Seems reasonable to me.
Thoughts

you might have £500 for the plumber/gasser and sparks leaving £1000 for fitting all that lot.
If the fitters have a van full of expensive routers, drills and all the other weird stuff that kitchen fitters use that doesn't seem too bad to me.

Thanks all, what I did like is he came with his ipad, and about 15 pictures of kitchens on there that he has fitted over the past few months.
They all look pretty good.
Also, never experienced this before, but one or two of the photos allow people to come and look at their kitchens and the quality of fit, as they are so impressed!0 -
That's cheap. There will probably be 2 guys and they'll chuck it in in less than 2 days, not bad profit but certainly competitive.0
