That's horrible. Hopefully the police will track them down at some point and they meet a nice big bloke in the prison showers that take a fancy to them if you know what I mean....

If it's any small consolation, if it was opportunist smackheads, they're already in a living hell. Burglary feels so invasive and personal though, I'm so sorry to hear it, especially so close to a bereavement.

My thought and prayers go out to you and your family for such a sad loss.

Unfortunately these "SCUMBAGS" and there are many of them out there, do not think about what they are doing to normal everyday people when they break into a house, they just think what they can get, and they almost every time take something that is irreplaceable, a family heirloom, or a memorable keepsake. But these are only things, the one thing they can not take are your memories and you have to make sure that your sister and BI remember this.

I hope the police find out who these people are and lock them up and throw away the key.

My family were robbed a couple of years ago ,a few months later one of the suspects [had mum's tablet on him] was killed when a car hit him on an unlit country road as stupid o clock.

    Karma is a b!!!h !

Really sorry to hear that, Poppyoscar.

I agree with ChrissyG, I think 'what goes around, comes around'.
Let hope with these people, it will be sooner than later.

So sorry Poppyoscar, you and your family must be absolutely devastated.

No punishment is tough enough for the perpetrators.

    Thank you everyone.

So angry right now. We lost my niece to cancer in July, then my nephew suddenly collapsed and died from a brain bleed, funeral 3 days before Christmas, had to have one of our dogs put to sleep in the same week and now this.

My poor sister is like a zombie, I know material things can be replaced but this is the last thing they need right now. Their home is their refuge and it has been violated.
