New car on PCP, but dealer forgot to take the agreed deposit/payment?

I bought a new car from a dealership and picked it up yesterday. It's on finance, so I part-exchanged my old car, paid £1500 (or so I was meant to!) and pay £210-ish a month for 24 months. I'm then required to pay £9500-ish at the end of the agreement. But.. I never paid the deposit. They never asked me for it, just signed the paperwork and handed over the keys. I've had a new car on finance from them before, and I paid the cash by card at the dealership before driving away. I keep expecting someone to call me and ask me to pay it, but so far I've not heard a thing.

I've had a look through my contract and it says that the balance of £1500 needs to be cleared before the vehicle can de delivered. Have they just forgotten? Or should I expect a bill? Could they take it by direct debit when my monthly payments come out? I have all the paperwork which states that I am the registered keeper etc.

Thanks

You'll probably get a call when the office review the paperwork

It sounds like they have forgotten. Make sure you keep the money available in case they remember - don't just assume you got lucky and go on a spending spree.

They should not take any money from you by direct debit without informing you first. That's one of the requirements of the Direct Debit Guarantee.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
