How to communicate with Amazon

I have just received a new computer monitor from Amazon, but it contains the wrong power cable. I don't want to return the monitor, but just get them to supply the correct power cable. However, whenever I go into my account, there seems to be no option of communicating this to them. There is a "returns" button, but you actually have to return the item, rather than get them to send you what is missing.

Any thoughts on how to get in touch with a person?

    Go to the help page (can be found at the bottom of the screen/page)
    Select 'need more help'
    Then contact us
    You may need to log in but then you can select which item you want to contact them about
    There will be the option of how to contact them - email / phone / chat

    There are power cables on sale for £1.95, including delivery, on Amazon.

    I'm wondering if just ordering one would be simpler than trying to contact someone then explain and discuss...
  • I find the chat option to be great.
  • I had an issue the other day where for some reason they look money to sign up to Prime, I called them and it was sorted within a couple of minutes.

    I just went to the Contact Us Page and there was a customer support number.

    Customer Service can also be reached by phone 7 days a week 06.00 to midnight, local UK time on Freephone (within the UK) 0800 496 1081.

    The chat option is great. I ordered a smartwatch which failed to appear..went on chat and they said the carrier had lost it but they ordered me another one straight away with guaranteed next day delivery.
    I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

  • No, I have to buy the cable separately, but can't find one that seems to fit.
    It has to be 13amb and the type of plug that has three rounded ends, in other words not slits. What are the proper names for these types of plug anyway? Does anybody know?
