How to copy and paste on Ipad

Sorry but I'm not very techie!:(

I want to do a link from a newspaper article to a forum I use and I can't work out how to do it.

Tap the URL bar for a suitable length of time to get the pop-up menu with 'Select All' in it. This may take some practice. After the URL is selected, another pop-up with Copy as one of the options appears. Press copy and you have the URL in your 'clipboard', and you can paste it elsewhere. Tap in the place you want to paste it so that the Paste pop-up appears.

Click anywhere in the address bar at the top of the window and hold your finger down (a 'long press') - this will pop up a menu. You can select 'Select All' in this menu. The menu will pop up again and you can select 'Copy'.

To paste, click where you want to paste and hold down again. The menu will pop up again and you can select 'Paste'.
