Is anyone able to tell me if linked address stay on your credit file indefinitely ?

I think they keep them for up to 8 years, Experian at least.

at least 12 years, as I have an address from a 12 year old property on my report.

They stay on forever unless you request them to be removed. They have to remain if you have accounts still there. Not a problem unless you're running away from debts. I have links from 15 years ago and don't care.

On call credit they stay indefinatly.

For all your replies. No I'm not running away from anything. I don't have any debts except from council tax and childcare which are being paid
I have moved an awful lot due to personal reasons mainly due to an ex and it just looks untidy on my credit report which I'm working hard to get tip top to potentially get a mortgage.

I will request they are removed if they can't be thats finr if they can then thats great

According to the ICO linked addresses should only stay as long as it's relevant. If you have linked addresses as old as 12 years I'd contact the CRA and have them removed.
