Old Bank Books ( Help Needed)

I have just found 3 old bank books (Lloyds, TSB and National savings). The interest has not been made up since 1984, 1989 and 1980 respectivly.
They are all still Ok according to the banks.
Can any one tell me where to go to find out how much they should give me in interest on these accounts???
Is there a web site that can do this for me??
Your help would be appreciated. MIKE

Sorry, why can't you just go to the bank and get them made up? Or in the case of National Savings send it off to be closed and get a cheque for the money? (Assuming it's an ordinary account - they no longer exist)0

Just go to the branch and get them to update the balance in the books0

LLoyds TSB will take care of the first two over the counter, you might have to post the NS one off rather than get it checked at the post office. The address is:
National Savings and Investments
Glasgow
G58 1SB
All dead easy as everyone above says!0 -
Thanks for the help guys. I was wondering if the banks can be trusted to give the interest as they should do.
Given the tricks they pull to get money I am always suspicious of them.0 -
are we talking thousands here?0

The interest should have already been applied to the accounts at the rates of the time, it's just that the entries haven't been put in your books yet. They won't suddenly have to start calculating interest entries now.0
