Has anyone any suggestions for a family holiday around Norfolk area at the beginning of July please? Children will be 5 & 3 years. Grandparents and family.
2A & 2 children live abroad and we're all thinking a holiday in UK would be a good idea :-/ !
Many thanks.

Best Caravan I ever had was at Breydon Water,Great Yarmouth.
We was in Yare Village.
There's a fantastic Roman Fort ruins just off the site, with lots of open fields for the children to play and run around.
This is the Roman Fort

Many thanks essex boy. We've been looking at Breydon Water and also Kessingland. As a child I had a caravan holiday in Clacton most years, which I hated! We thought the children may possibly enjoy a caravan as something different for them but keeping our options open just in case someone suggests something different! Just got to get my head round it!

PS Should have said the Roman Fort looks great. Would just need the sun to shine or rain keep away!0 -
If you want something different Cromer lighthouse has two self catering cottages.0

Breydon Water is very nice went last year going again this year, we have been at Kessingland for the past 5 years, both are good parks0

Ive stayed at several in norfolk, but the best ive found is the Wild Duck through Haven Holidays
Its a small site, so not overly busy or noisy. It has a clubhouse with entertainment, plus a nice indoor swimming pool
If looking for things to do in area, transport museum is just up road, as are the broads, with boat trips. Bewilderwood, dinosaur land, pettits animal park and Africa Alive are all a short drive away0 -
Yes Wild Duck is nice , not keen on Haven holidays myself , but its a good site0

Some good ideas, many thanks to you all. Having always go on holiday abroad and family grown up it was difficult. Shall look into those. Also thought of Potters but haven't looked yet to see if that would be suitable. All we could remember was Pontins and Butlins. Not sure if they even exist?!0

Yes there is a Pontins in the area at Pakefield0
