Validated Readings 'Isupplyenergy'?
Hi gave some readings on the 15th Dec '14 as 'Isuppyenergy' had requested & just by chance I noticed that the readings I gave had not been validated? They hadn't informed me there was a msg in my account.
I am a new customer & my previous 2 mths readings seemed fine. I've always given monthly readings with no problems & validation was not mentioned, looks like 'am going to end up with an estimated bill? So does this mean 'Isupplyenergy' need to do a reading themselves? I have contacted 'Isupplyenergy', but still waiting to hear back.
Appreciate any help, perhaps anyone also with 'Isupplyenergy'.
This is what it also says in my account (Readings) :
'Readings must be validated by the Meter Reading Agency in accordance with regulations and industry rules. We will not be able to use the readings in our bill calculations unless this happens.
Readings may not be validated due to the historical meter reading data held by the Meter Reading Agency. It can also be because actual meter readings have not been obtained by the Meter Reading Agency for a long period of time.
Please do not be concerned if the meter readings you provided are not validated. The Meter Reading Agency may validate your readings in the future once further readings have been taken. We routinely monitor the validation of readings by the Meter Reading Agency and will follow up with them on your behalf if we have concerns that they are not correctly validating readings'

One possibility is that you may have accidentally submitted an incorrect reading which is not consistent with previous readings. You may get an estimated consumption used for your next bill but it should sort itself out when you next submit readings. If you pay by monthly DD it should have no effect on your payments.
You might try submitting new readings straight-away.
Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

They may have a problem with their billing at the moment as my bill was due on the 30th December, but has still not been generated and all my readings are up to date.0

Hi if I remember rightly they said my first bill was due mid Januaryjoe2cool0

Hi my readings have still not been validated even though I keep getting apologies.... Eg I am truly sorry that your recent meter readings have failed. This has happened because the previous meter readings have still not been validated and therefore the system hasn’t updated.
I am monitoring your account and I apologise for the time this has taken. I have sent another follow up to our Operations team and will continue monitoring your account until this issue is resolved.
I have given readings each mth & still not validated since Dec. I am due another bill of which I guess is going to be another estimate? So 'am going to pay the exit fee & switch. This as never happened before with any other company.
Has anyone else come across this validation problem?joe2cool0 -

I 've had these msgs when I've enquired since Dec 14, the length of time to validate seems ridiculous when all the readings are acurate.joe2cool0

I hope you have been keeping your own records of all these readings and haven't lost the intitial reading when you started with them.
That will at least allow you do your own sums and work out what you should be paying for and enable you to be checking that any payments you are making are covering your consumption.
It took eight months for Futility to start billing me and recording my meter readings correctly but it worked out OK when they did and it's been spot on ever since. I stll keep my own records and check their monthly statements (and save them). I give them the meter readings on the last day of the month and if I'm not there to actually read it then they get my estimate. I don't let them make estimates as they are way out.
I signed up just yesterday for another 12 month fix as they are the almost the cheapest for me (bar £2) and it saves me the aggro of swapping suppliers just to save £2.
My dd should drop by £8 per month and they should be refunding me £200 within the next 10-14 days. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed but the people I spoke to yesterday seemed to be on the ball and their information matched my own calculations so I'm hopeful that is should all workNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Hi yes I've always kept records of my readings/statements since previous discrepancies with other companies.
Thx for advicejoe2cool0
