Strangely other catch up TV work e.g. STV Player and iPlayer works on a.n.other TV.
Any ideas what may be causing this issue?

Some missing codec almost certainly. I'm not familiar with your kit, and it sounds surprising if everything is modern. If you look on the manufacturers sites, can you find any firmware updates for your devices? May overcome the problem.0
