Unwanted Angling Prizes - Charity Request

I hope this post is not against forum rules.
I know many people enter competitions for the thrill of winning and may receive prizes that they are not really sure what to do with. Some are sold, no doubt, but others may lie around in a cupboard or garage.
So, as Treasurer of a Macmillan Cancer Support fund-raising committee, I am asking anyone who wins some angling equipment and struggles to find a home for it to consider giving it to charity to enable us to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. We use tackle as raffle prizes and for bigger or more valuable items have used auctions to maximise the value. I have donated tackle and bait that I have won myself.
Here is a link to our website where you can find out more about us and what we do http://www.stoneyandfriends.co.uk/
We have been established nearly 20 years and are closing in on a grand total of £500,000 raised.
Thank you for reading - if you do have anything to donate please PM me. We are based in the Home Counties, but have supporters in many places across the UK.

Good idea,dangler.
I've won a few in that past & have given quite a few to a relative but will bear your post in mind in the future.
Do they have to be in the original packaging as a few of my wins have not been packaged.0 -
Thanks for the replies
In response to Weeowens - it does not matter. I think I know the type of prizes you mean, and I believe they have been magazine review samples that are given away.
When we are at fishing shows we run a tombola/peg-board type of thing and bag up prizes so the packaging is not important.
Thanks again0
