Santander 123 and cashback

We pay our council tax and gas/electricity via DD from this account and get cashback. We recently switched from Npower to EON and have now had a refund of about £400 from Npower into the account as we had built up credit to use over winter.
Will Santander now take back the 2% cashback we got on this amount previously?

No - pretty sure there was another thread on this, where some were deliberately overpaying in order to benefit from this!

No, if my reading of the account T&Cs* is correct. The worst that would happen is you wouldn't get any cashback for any DD paid to EON in the same month they refunded you.

Supplementary question......
would like to transfer the BT DD to this account to earn cashback, but the Santander account is in my name and the BT account (for some unknown reason) is in OH's name.
Can I do this?0 -
Can't see Santander having a problem with it. So it'll depend on whether BT let your OH set up a DD from an account which is not in their name.0

Thanks, will ring BT and report back. I have authority on the BT account and usually deal with everything on it.
OH leaves everything financial to me, does what I tell him to do. He is too busy with his hobbies to take much interest, but does know what I am organising, and does deal with his sole accounts (with prompting).0
