Double Glazing Scotland

Options
Looking for some recommendations of double glazing companies in Glasgow - North Ayrshire area. I'm trying to help an old lady who urgently needs help with possibly replacing her windows. Need a no nonsense company devoid of the usual DG shenanigans.

Any ideas?

£4-600 fitted by an independent, more for the 'shenanigans' companies.

If a option of self fit or employ a joiner/ builder is available try Rembrand timber , great prices on Kommerling

EBS Edinburgh are always well priced too but unsure how much of the area they cover

would be the mother of all projects. :D
  • Yes for pvcu depending upon no complexities under £500 fitted by an independent supplier for a high quality window frame/glass. Wooden a bit more expensive. Avoid the nationals and cowboys try local joiners.

When we built out house 2010-11 we got a very good local joinery company to make our windows.

But in this instance I think UPVC will be better,; I just don't see any maintenance being done on the windows .......ever!
