Hell: Anything aniseedy like chinese five spice and tarragon, mussels, stilton, red wine in food, chocolate orange

Food Hell: butter beans, lychees, anchovies, capers

Food heaven - fruity deserts

I have quite along list of foods I fine horrible and won't eat but my real food hell is mayonnaise - even seeing someone else eat mayonnaise makes me wretch.

Heaven: lasagne (in fact, most italian food), "one pot" meals like stews, casseroles..., my mum's stuffed peppers, a proper "steak frites".

Hell: offal, shellfish, celery, fennel, cooked apple.

Food Hell: Oysters, jellied eels. I honestly do not know how people can put those in their mouths.

Food Heaven: Pretty much anything else. I do especially love cheese

Food heaven - my mum's roasties! Most sweet things (except chocolate; it's ok but I've got to be in the mood for it). Clementines. Black seedless grapes. Black decaff coffee (Kenco is my current favourite)


Food hell - fresh tomatoes (the seeds give me the creeps!). Tripe. Coke. Fatty meats. Curry.


Food heaven when driving has to be mint imperials!
