New Airport shuttle business - Advice please

Hello everyone, I have a question that hopefully someone can answer... Do I need a taxi / private hire licence to start a single vehicle airport shuttle service? or do I just need the right vehicle insurance?
Thank you in advance

Depends on your local council. They will probably demand that it is plated and if over 7 passenger seats plated too. Its a bit of a can of worms and varies from area to area. Re insurance try direct chauffeurline (mention me "Firehire Ltd" ).
If you are thinking of working at Manchester Airport bear in mind that the airport are very difficult re access (esp.at the moment) unless you pay them a cut!
